Do female and male writers use adjectives differently? This article is a survey of the potentially gendered in Norwegian novels. It also tribute to Trond Tosteruds's legendary on grammatical gender. While our concern here biological sex authors their adjectives, man hour was concerned with rule-governed gender nouns, albeit accent. Several readers — listeners at MONS 1999 took note bold rule that said oblong objects, not mention protruding natural formations, are masculine, while phenomena such as pits cavities feminine (Trosterud 2001).
